Beryl Whiting is a Personal Development Coach & Trainer with a powerfully diverse (and sometimes 'eye-brow raising') professional 'tool-kit'. Equipped with the skills and talent you'd expect from a trainer more used to working in the corporate sector, Beryl's unique approach to self-growth and transformation combines her passions for 'neuro-science' with cutting edge 'new science' eg. quantum physics, vibrational frequency, intention etc. Her belief is that people all have the
resources they need to succeed in life and that her role is to facilitate their 'discovery' and command over those resources in whichever way is most appropriate for the individual.
Beryl explains why she joined Team WillMeOn...
"Will Maybanks is clearly a really talented young man and I believe that it is entirely possible for him to achieve his dreams. My job is to make sure that with every cell in his body, Will believes that too. Any time that Will struggles with belief in his ability to be an Olympic athlete, I will be supporting him in creating a powerful 'mindset'.
In my experience of coaching athletes, the mindset can be as crucial as the other physical elements of being a world class athlete. Many sports people can perform at their peak in practice and training. The key is to achieve their very best in competitions. The higher the stakes the more the knees wobble!
Having two ‘would be’ tour golfers as teenage sons, I am well aware of how focused you need to be when you have such a driving ambition that you know almost every decision you make can impact on your future. I am aware that feelings of 'low self esteem' can and often do creep in. The easy option is to give up, to settle for less, to believe those who tell you that it’s too difficult. Of course, there are disappointments, however if you want your goal enough, there’s always a way forward. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to support Will in his way forward.
Sports psychology coaching will help Will
- recover from disappointments rapidly
- experience the feelings of already being of Olympic standard
- achieve his best in training AND competitions
- increase recovery time from injuries
- manage new challenges with confidence
- and so much more…
Go Will!"
